The sister of super producer Mark Ronson, Samantha is facing a court battle with her former lawyers for $165,000 in unpaid legal fees.
Law firm Davis And Gilbert allege they were never paid for helping her fight and lose a lawsuit against celebrity blogger Perez Hilton - after he accused her of being the owner of cocaine found in Lohan’s car following the actress’ car accident in Los Angeles in May (07).
The case was thrown out of court and the DJ was ordered to pay Hilton’s legal fees.
Company partner Martin Garbus says Ronson, 30: “failed to return calls, missed appointments, and otherwise acted in an unprofessional manner, making the presentation of the case exceedingly difficult.”
Ronson has yet to answer to the lawsuit, but her attorney is seeking for the case to be transferred to federal court.
