Actor Adrien Brody spent his youth as a teenage rapper and breakdancer in New York, taking part in street battles with other youths.

The Oscar-winning The Pianist star admits he originally dreamed of being an Eminem-type star, not an acclaimed actor.

And has even considered returning to the rap world if he tires of his acting career.

Brody says: “There was a rap about a roller rink on Long Island where I used to go for break dancing battles. That’s where my real sense of style evolved. I’d probably hurt myself if I started break-dancing again. I’d have to be pretty intoxicated. But I’ll come back one day. You’ll see me on the floor doing the Worm.”
