Natalie Portman will never forget the first time she met screen legend Dustin Hoffman - he tried to set her up with his son.
Portman, who stars alongside the movie great in new family film Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium, was appearing in a play 10 years ago when Hoffman came backstage and introduced himself.
And the two-time Oscar winner wasted no time in igetting the actress to talk to his son on the telephone.
She recalls: “I was doing a play in New York and he came backstage and was so, so lovely - and put me on the phone with his son. His son is lovely but wasn’t interested in me, (although) Dustin was interested in adopting me into his family.”
