West Wing actor Richard Schiff has signed up to star on the London stage, after being inspired by former castmate Rob Lowe’s successful West End run last year in A Few Good Men.

Schiff, who played Toby Ziegler in the hit show, will debut in Glen Berger’s Underneath The Lintel at the Duchess Theatre in February.

The play follows what happens when a when a small town librarian attempts to find out who anonymously returned a book, 113 years overdue.

As well as appearing on the small screen, Schiff has had some key roles on the big screen including Jurassic Park, Deep Impact and Ray.

In 2001, Schiff won the Best Male Character in Television in the Jewish Image Awards in Film and Television.
