Billie Piper was determined to take her new role as a Jewish prostitute seriously - she met several real life vice girls.
The former Doctor Who star plays a hooker in forthcoming British TV show Secret Diary Of A Call Girl.
“I met high-class hookers who were very candid,” she says. “I wanted to know if they get anything out of the sex… if they ever fell in love with the guys. Surprisingly, some of them did.”
