Barr Sacks Intern Over Fake Postings

American comedienne Roseanne Barr has sacked the intern who posted a series of bizarre rants on the internet purporting to be from her.
The 54-year-old star worried fans by seemingly penning drunken outbursts on her MySpace page, describing her incontinence problems, her hatred of U.S. president George W. Bush, and shooting trespassers on her land.
But Barr insists the Monday postings had nothing to do with her, and has since dismissed the real culprit.
In a statement on her website, she writes: “One of the interns who was administering my MySpace page has been fired. I apologise for the offensive blogging that went on there last night. I apologise to all on MySpace who received the offensive bulletins. The matter has been handled.”
