Gellar Goes For Shock Tactics

Sarah Michelle Gellar was desperate to play a porn star on the big screen, so she could show off her versatility as an actress.
The Buffy and Scooby Doo actress stars as raunchy character Krysta Now in new movie Southland Tales, and admits she chose the role in a bid to shed her girl-next-door image.
Gellar claims the film is so shocking, it will make casting agents consider her for more varied parts.
“I need a change and this was just the sort of role I wanted,” she says. “I want people to see it because it might just shock people into choosing me for other projects.”
