Hollywood AOJO Carrie Fisher has made her stage debut in an autobiographical play about her life.
Wishful Drinking is set to run until December 23 at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles.
Best known for her role as Princess Leia in Star Wars, Fisher has also made a name for herself with her books Surrender The Pink and Delusions Of Grandma as well as remaining in newspaper headlines.
The daughter of actress Debbie Reynolds and singer Eddie Fisher, the play explores both the highs and lows of her life and her family background.
From her brief marriage to singer and fellow MOJO Paul Simon in the early 80s to discovering the father of her daughter was actually gay, Fisher’s story touches on all aspects of her life even including her famous typecasting as Princess Leia.
