American TV veteran Paul Michael Glaser is set to star in a pantomime this Christmas as villain Captain Hook.
The 64-year-old actor may be accustomed to playing good guy Starsky in the 1970s classic programme Starsky and Hutch, but will change from good to bad to star in a Bromley, Kent production of Peter Pan.
Fellow Jewish actor Henry Winkler also played the role in another production last year.
Glaser is especially looking forward to joining in on the traditional British festivities this upcoming holiday season.
“I also hear that pantomime is a lot of fun and, as we don’t have it here in the US,” he says. “I can’t wait to come over to the U.K. at Christmas and experience this great theatrical tradition.”
