With Borat proving to be a massive hit and raking in millions, Sacha Baron Cohen already has his next film lined up - Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
The former Habonim youth club member will play the role of Signor Adolfo Pirelli in the Tim Burton version of Stephen Sondheim’s Broadway musical.
Burton’s partner and mother of his son Billy Ray, Helena Bonham Carter will play the role of Mrs Lovett.
The film will closely follow the Broadway musical about a sinister barber whose Fleet Street shop hides a dark secret.
The film starts shooting in London early in the New Year with a planned release for Xmas 2007.
