Connick Jr Wants To Be Golf Pro

Crooner Harry Connick Jr has become an early riser because he’s desperate to hit the golf course before anyone can watch him make swing errors.
The singer/songwriter has just started playing the game, but already he’s hooked on becoming an expert.
But unfortunately his golf game isn’t yet at a level where he can play with anyone else.
He says: “I suck so bad. I go early because… the earlier I go the better chance I have of not seeing anyone else on the golf course. I don’t care how much it costs but I’ll book five tee times before me and five after me… That way I know I’ll be cool. I count every stroke and I think once you get into the thousands, it’s like a little too much.”
But there’s one thing about his game Connick Jr likes: “I have great clubs and I have really good clothes… That’s 80 per cent of it.”
