Adam Levine’s Maroon 5 have made US pop chart history after scoring the biggest jump to number one ever on the Billboard Hot 100.

The group’s Makes Me Wonder has shot up the chart from number 64 to number one, beating Kelly Clarkson’s previous jump from 52 to the top spot.

The record-breaking feat prevents Avril Lavigne from celebrating a second week on top of both the US album and singles charts; her Girlfriend hit drops a place to number two.

I physically do not understand how Adam Levine can be so attractive and talented. Did he get a special trip to the “hot, tall, and talented” Jew pool? *sigh* As much as I love that darn song (it sure it catchy, right?), I get depressed thinking that they just don’t grow Jews like that around here…
