Bob DylanVeteran rocker Bob Dylan is constantly “in awe” of Sir Paul McCartney’s musical talent, and hopes the former Beatle will quit the pop industry to give others a chance of success.

Dylan, 65, has praised the Hey Jude singer for his ability to write and perform hit songs with such ease, and is so jealous of McCartney he wishes he would go into an early retirement.

“I’m in awe of McCartney. He can do it all and he’s never let up. He’s got the gift for melody, he’s got the rhythm. He can play any instrument,” he says. “And he can sing the ballad as good as anybody. I mean, I just wish he’d quit!”

Dylan said this in an interview with Jann Brenner recently. I heard extracts from this interview via Google alerts. But now I can’t find them anymore. Does anybody have any suggestions of where to find it? I would love to hear it again. !!!
