THE O.C. star Adam Brody has been in “mourning” since the teen drama was axed over poor viewing figures, but hopes to front a spin-off series.
The actor, who played Seth Cohen in the show, loved his “geeky” character and wants to resurrect him in a new show.
“I’m still waiting for the spin-off. He needs one,” Brody says.

Seth was my favourite character in the show, to bring him back in a spin off show would be great and atleast for now fill the void that cancelling the O.C has caused

Heres the thing really adam brody can miss it all he wants hell i know i do seth was hands down the best character in the show but to be honest he can carry a show on his own its like when the show joey was done it worked for a year then didnt pan out people get bored without the other friends right but if you bring them back the show is just friends again….. its the same with this “spin off” idea who is seth without ryan in the show not all that entertaining but if ryan comes back isnt the oc again heres what needs to be done forget a spin off pull a degrassi make a next generation assume we follow up from the end of the finale right so ryan now a succesful arcitect buys back the house he was created in and summer and seth now having their first kid move back to newport heres your show from there it can become a whole new show hell you could even make seth and summers kids teenagers the fact is the show didnt have good rattings and fox needs to relize they fell off with the 4th season screwing themselves its time for a new oc hey man i love smallville and if that can survive for 7 seasons oc can
