Jewish funny lady Ronni Ancona, who shot to stardom on sketch show The Big Impression is returning to the small screen in her own show.
Ronni Ancona and Co will see the comedienne, best known for her impersonation of Victoria Beckham, introducing a bunch of new characters as well as sending up the showbiz world. Sultry singer Amy Winehouse is among the famous names who Ancona will be impersonating.
“The show is an eclectic mix of characters and impressions, which is something I’ve always wanted to do,” said Scots-born Ancona. “And it’s been a fantastic opportunity to work with other artists who I greatly admire.
The three part series will be shown on BBC One later in the year.
