Singer Songwriter Lucie Silvas is to support soul star Lionel Ritchie on his forthcoming tour of the UK in May.
The Breathe In performer who was born in the UK and raised in New Zealand recently released her second album The Same Side which achieved number 1 status in Spain and Holland, but barely scratched the UK album charts.
As well as performing her own material, Silvas has had a successful career penning songs for others including Rachel Stevens and Will Young.
