Famed restaurant entrepreneur Robert Earl, has added his fifth Buca di Beppo Italian eatery in the UK.
The latest branch of the 87 strong US chain is in Elstree, famous for its intrernational film studio as well as being close to where Earl grew up in north west London.
“I’m thrilled that we are opening in Elstree, as I was born a stones throw away in Hendon – it’s great to have a restaurant that’s so accessible to the residents of North London and surrounding areas,” said the Planet Hollywood founder.
During his career, Earl has been responsible for managing some of the most trendy chain restaurants aound which included Hard Rock Cafe as well as the famed Planet Hollywood which through its operating company owns Buca di Beppo.
“I’m delighted that Buca is appealing to our many, many customers,” he added. “The Brits have always loved Italian cuisine and with our authentic, quality food, served in generous portions we hope to continue our success across the UK.”
The latest Bica di Beppo is part of an ongoing partnetrship with leading British hotel chain Village which has seen four other branches open at its hotels. “The first four Buca’s have been a great success and the British public have taken to the family dining Italian concept,” said Gary Davis, chief executive of Village Hotels.
The new Elstree Buca di Beppo maintains a constant Italian theme which also includes three private dining areas, ‘The Godfather’ which seats 16, the ‘Sophia Loren’ which seats 12 and ‘Fat Joes’ which seats 10.
