TV news presenter Natasha Kaplinsky is to feature in the new series of Who Do You Think You Are?
The hit show, in which celebrities trace their family roots is returning for its fourth series and the BBC 6 O’Clock News anchorwoman found making it an important experience in 2006.
The 34-year-old, who grew up in Kenya after her parents left South Africa, explores how her family emigrated from Europe to Africa.
“That has been a massive insight into my family life, and that, I suppose, was both a professional and a personal high,” she says.
Kaplinsky, is the latest Jewish star to sign-up to the small screen genealogy programme, previous participants have included comedian David Baddiel, actor and writer Stephen Fry and TV cook Nigella Lawson.
