Actor and writer Stephen Fry has broken his arm after falling over while filming a nature documentary in Brazil.
The Gosford Park star was on location in the South American country filming BBC documentary Last Chance To See when he injured himself.
The 50-year-old was rushed to a local hospital in Tefe before being flown to the US for further medical care. He is now recovering in the UK
“Unfortunately Stephen has broken his right arm after slipping while filming in Brazil for a new BBC Two series,” said a BBC spokesperson. “He will have further treatment and hopes to be recovered to continue filming later in the year.”
