Funnyman Zach Braff is asking fans of Scrubs to make sure they tune into the sixth season of the medical comedy – because he knows the show will be trumped in the ratings by Grey’s Anatomy..
The sixth season – which is set to be the 31-year-old’s last playing Dr John ‘JD’ Dorian - started airing on US TV network NBC last week in the coveted 9pm slot – the same time the Ellen Pompeo-starring serious medical drama is on ABC.
“They scheduled us against Grey’s Anatomy, so we know we’re gonna get crushed,” he says on his blog. ”But if you’re a fan of the show, please tune in.”
