American Idol judge Paula Abdul is reportedly in talks to star in a new cheerleader-themed show in Las Vegas.
According to the National Enquirer, the former Los Angeles Lakers cheerleader is in negotiations with executives at several Sin City casinos to headline a stage show that would open late next year.
A source told the tabloid: “Paula has no idea what could happen when her contract with Idol ends after next season. It’s possible she’ll strike a deal and stay with the show, but she’s not depending on that. She’s secretly putting together an exit strategy.”
The source added: “It will be very state-of-the-art with a number of stage props, such as water, lighting and pyrotechnics.”
