Former Cheers actress Rhea Perlman is the latest American star heading for the London West End stage, after agreeing to star in a play this summer.
The Matilda star and wife of fellow pint-sized Hollywood actor Danny DeVito will appear in farce play Boeing, Boeing from June 25.
And Perlman reveals she’s anxious – but can’t wait: “London? The West End? It’s unbelievable. A long way from Brooklyn, I’ll say. It’s thrilling. I’m just thrilled. And terrified. Working with English actors in England. And I love this play. It’s hysterical. And this play is a farce. I love that. Who knows, by the end of the summer I may even have learned to speak the native tongue.”
