Troubled singer Amy Winehouse has hit out at rumours she is suffering from an eating disorder – putting her skeletal figure down to stress.
The star has endured a variety of health problems so far this year, including a trip to rehab to kick her drink and drug addictions and a bout of highly contagious skin condition impetigo.
And last week, the Back To Black hitmaker was hospitalised after collapsing at her London home. She was subsequently diagnosed with traces of deadly lung disease emphysema.
But it is her super-skinny frame that has sparked major fears for her health – and led to rumours she is suffering from anorexia.
However, Winehouse has dismissed the speculation surrounding her size, insisting she is eating normally and actually trying to put on weight.
She told Rolling Stone magazine: “I’m on a strict pizza diet. I’m on a strict put-weight-on diet. I love food. I’m just stressed out.”
