Troubled jazz songstress Amy Winehouse was celebrating her freedom after she was busted in Norway for marijuana possession – by downing glasses of champagne.
The Rehab star and her husband Blake Fielder-Civil were arrested by police in Bergen on Thursday night – along with another unnamed person – after cops received a tip-off from staff at the Hotel Norge complaining about the smell of the drug coming from their suite.
A police raid found seven grammes of marijuana in their hotel room – and according to a Bergen police spokesman, Winehouse was so intoxicated she could barely stand as she was taken into custody. The representative also claims the singer was incoherent and slurred her speech.
The trio was released on Friday morning after each accepting a 500 euro fine.
And Winehouse decided to carry on partying ahead of her gig at the Peer Gynt Salen on Friday night, enjoying several glasses of bubbly before she took to the stage as part of her European tour.
