Jewish children and families charity Norwood is to be one of five charities to benefit from an album of duets recorded by former glam model Katie Price and her Aussie pop singer husband Peter Andre.
A Whole New World features 12 songs including The Best Things In Life Are Free, Endless Love and Don’t Go Breaking My Heart.
Price, 29, who revealed a few years ago that her maternal grandmother was Jewish, has two children, Junior by husband Andre and Harvey from former boyfriend Dwight Yorke. Harvey suffers from learning difficulties and is partially blind.
“We’re delighted that Katie and Peter are supporting our work,” said Norwood chief executive Norma Brier. “We know, that as parents of a child with a learning disability, Katie and Peter understand only too well the challenges as well as pleasures that this can bring and how vital it is to have people to turn to for support when the going gets tough. We hope the album is a great success.”
Other charities who will also benefit from the proceeds of the album are: NSPCC, The Disability Foundation, Moorfields Eye Hospital (the Richard Desmond Eye Centre) and Vision.
