Troubled singer Amy Winehouse has recorded just two songs in six months – sparking fears her third album will be scrapped.
The Rehab hitmaker has struggled to concentrate on her music career as she battles drink and drug addictions, on top of a host of health problems – even though she was expected to release another LP this year.
Now it has emerged she has barely managed a start on the follow up to 2006 smash-hit album Back to Black – and the record may be shelved until she is ready to commit to the project.
A source told The Sun: “With all the problems surrounding her personal issues and addictions, we are really concerned it will never get finished. If six months produces two half-baked tracks, how long will an album take? Unless she sorts herself out and gets some focus it might never happen.”
