Super producer Mark Ronson is hoping pal Amy Winehouse attends the Grammys in Los Angeles on Sunday – because the event will be “boring without her”.
Winehouse is currently seeking permission to enter the U.S. to attend the star-studded Los Angeles ceremony, where she is nominated for six awards.
But the singer’s alleged drug taking could scupper her chances of being granted a visa, after she was filmed allegedly smoking crack cocaine in footage obtained by a British tabloid newspaper.
And Ronson – who collaborated with Winehouse on her sophomore album Back To Black – insist the Grammys will be lacking in fun if the 24-year-old is unable to attend.
He said: “I hope Amy can make it. It’ll be boring without her.”
Winehouse was banned from the US last October after she was arrested and fined in Norway for possession of cannabis.
