The bitter feud between music producer Mark Ronson and pop singer Lily Allen has finally been resolved.
The pair collaborated on Allen’s debut album Alright, Still as well as Ronson’s reworking of the Kaiser Chief’s Oh My God but reportedly fell out after the Smile hitmaker failed to attend the 32-year-old’s performance at BBC’s Electric Proms in October.
He says: “We are friends again – we’ve made up and everything is cool between us. I was hanging out with her on Tuesday night at Bungalow 8 and she was very nice.”
And the superproducer is now hoping their renewed friendship will lead to a collaboration on the 22-year-old’s second album and a duet onstage at next year’s annual Brit Awards in London.
He adds: “I’m blackmailing her into performing at the Brits with me. I say to her ‘I knew you when’ so she can’t get out of it.”
