Sexy songstress Lucie Silvas who shoot to fame with her single Breathe In from the album of the same name is back with a new album – The Same Side.
The 29-year-old born Lucie Silverman was born in the UK but moved to New Zealand, at the age of 16, she moved back to the UK and became a backing vocalist. Eventually she gained her own recording deal but success was not found initially.
Having found herself dropped by her first record label, Silvas then started writing for other artists which included Rachel Stevens and Liberty X.
A highlight of her career was performing Elton John’s Your Song in front of John himself.
“I was so nervous – I was playing one of the greatest songs of all time and Elton was only a couple of feet away from me! I felt more pressure that night than I ever have in my career,” she told BBC News.
Later this month, Silvas will be taking part in a charity event for children’s charity Norwood where she will be a judge in choosing a next big star.
“I’m delighted to be involved in The Big Voice final, supporting aspiring young singers and helping to raise money for Norwood, a fantastic charitable cause,” she said.
