Rocker Lenny Kravitz has postponed his forthcoming European tour after checking into hospital with severe bronchitis.
Kravitz was scheduled to begin the tour this week with stops throughout Europe into March – but was forced to axe dates after he was taken to the emergency room at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami, Florida on Monday morning to treat the illness, severe dehydration and fatigue.
A statement from the star said: “I would like to apologise to my fans in Europe. I am extremely disappointed that I am not able to come to Europe to see everyone and also perform. Unfortunately I need to take this time to rest and get healthy and so I was forced to make this decision.”
Cancelled dates are expected to be rescheduled in upcoming weeks.
