Jon Moss: “I’ve Had Enough Of George”

Published on November 03, 2006 with No Comments

Jon MossCulture Club’s Jon Moss has hit back on his former bandmate and lover Boy George claiming that the band’s lead singer has been bad mouthing him for years.

In an interview with the Associated Press, Moss, 49, said the ex-Culture Club front man’s claim that Moss was “ashamed” of their relationship was not true.

“I’m not ashamed of anything,” Moss told AP. “My parents, all my friends knew. There’s no problem there. “The only person George loves is George. He’s like a nightmare ex-wife. This guy’s being rude about me all the time. I’ve lived with it for years and I’ve just had enough.”

Moss also said that George’s claim that the band split because their relationship ended was “complete and utter cobbler’s.”

Since their relationship fizzled, Moss eventually got married and now has three children.

Following the demise of Culture Club and up until their recent reforming without Boy George, Moss has been in a number of bands including Fassbender and Dirth.

The original band members of Culture Club with a new vocalist to replace George go on tour across the UK in December.
