Bob Dylan escaped for a secret rehab session after he was almost killed in a 1966 motorcycle accident, according to an artist pal.
Fans of the legendary rocker have long speculated that the Tambourine Man disappeared for six weeks to “find himself” after the accident near his Woodstock, New York home in July 1966.
He even left his wife and baby behind.
But Dutch artist Jan Cremer claims Dylan was actually detoxing at the New York home of his manager.
He writes in his memoir, “(Bob) swallowed, sniffed or injected too much.”
