Former Blink-182 rocker Travis Barker and Nicole Richie’s ex-fiance Adam ‘DJ AM’ Goldstein have been hospitalised in South Carolina following a plane crash that left four dead.
The pals, who recently performed as the ‘house band’ at the MTV Video Music Awards, were passengers on a Learjet, which crashed on take-off from Columbia airport on Friday.
The plane was bound for California.
Both stars reportedly escaped the blazing wreck of the plane before emergency rescue services arrived. The rocker and the DJ are in critical condition after suffering severe burns in the crash.
The Learjet crashed when it failed to clear the runway.
Reports suggest one of those killed in the crash was Barker’s newly-married assistant Chris Baker. As WENN went to press, it was not known if any of the others who perished in the accident were connected to the two stars.
