Abdul Snubbed By MTV

Singer Paula Abdul has been snubbed by music channel MTV – after it refused to play her new single Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow.

The American Idol judge shot to fame in the late 1980′s with exceptional dance routines to tunes including Straight Up and Opposites Attract.

And despite fellow Idol judge Randy Jackson pitching in ideas for the video, critics have branded Abdul’s dance routines “recycled”, following its premiere on the talent show last month.

An MTV spokesman told MSNBC.com: “There are currently no plans to play the video.”
