Late movie mogul Lew Wasserman has been given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Wasserman’s goddaughter, actress Jamie Lee Curtis, and studio head Jeffrey Katzenberg were among the friends and relatives who attended the ceremony in front of the famed Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on Friday.

The 89-year-old, who was credited with building the careers of many stars, was the head of talent agency MCA and Universal Studios. He died of complications following a stroke in 2002.
