Stiller’s Musical Failure

Published on September 22, 2008 with No Comments

Ben Stiller was tempted to come up with a theme tune for his latest movie Tropic Thunder – but realised he had no musical talent.

Stiller co-wrote and directed the movie, but wanted to try his hand at creating the score too.

But he quickly changed his mind after his first attempt at some lyrics.

Stiller told radio station Heart FM: “I didn’t write the theme tune like John Carpenter did the score for his movie Halloween. The problem is that I don’t have any musical talent. I think that would have been a bad idea for everyone involved.”
