Little HeroesFilm festivals are not just for adults as the second London Children’s Film Festival which starts on 18 November and runs until 26 November is hoping to prove.

This year, among the films being shown from around the world are a couple of popular Israeli cinema treats.

Martyr Street is aimed at children over the age of 15 and is on at the Barbican on 23 November.

Set in Hebron, the documentary tells the story of the town through two girls, one Palestinian and one Jewish and how they treat each other with suspicion.

Little Heroes on 25 November at the Barbican is aimed at children over 7 and follows the story of three people who help a telepathic girl to save a couple stranded in Israel’s Negev Desert.  Following the screening, children will also be able to take part in a special stunts workshop where they can learn how to fall over without hurting themselves.
