Woody Allen and his jazz band have thrilled fans in Poland by holding their first ever concert in the country.
The veteran filmmaker played to around 3,000 fans at a gig on Sunday by playing the clarinet, accompanied by his New Orleans Jazz Band.
During his performance at Warsaws Sala Kongresowa concert hall, Allen told the crowd: “We will do our best to entertain you.”
The 73-year-old’s solo parts, as well as those of other band members, were welcomed with applause and Allen received a standing ovation at the end.
The star rarely performs in large venues or outside New York City, where he lives.
