Academy-award winning director Woody Allen previewed his new film, Cassandra’s Dream, to an audience of 600 in a tiny Spanish town last Monday.
The drama, Allen’s third to be filmed in London, stars Ewan McGregor and Colin Farrell as brothers and will not premiere until the Venice Film Festival at the end of August.
It is unknown why Allen chose the town of Aviles to debut his film, except that it is close to Oviedo where he has been scouting to film his new movie Midnight in Barcelona, starring Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz.
The director told the small audience at the showing: “I hope you like the film, but if you don’t you can ask for your money back.”
