    Mel Brooks set to deliver slasher movie Pizzaman

    Comedy legend Mel Brooks has revealed that his next movie will be a horror movie about a homicidal pizza delivery man.

    The 85-year-old – best known for such classics as The Producers, Young Frankenstein, Silent Movie and History Of The World Part I – is set to produce, rather than direct, the movie, which will go into production next year.

    “I’ve got a script and I’ve got a director,” Brooks told the film magazine Fangoria.

    Israeli star Ayelet Zurer bags a Super film role

    Israeli actress Ayelet Zurer is set to play the role of Superman’s birth  mother in the upcoming blockbuster movie Man Of Steel.

    The 42-year-old – who until now has been relatively unknown outside of her home country – stepped in after actress Julia Ormond, who was originally cast, pulled out for unknown reasons.

    She will star as Lara Lor-Van in the film, opposite Oscar-winner Russell Crowe who is playing Superman’s dad Jor-El, and British actor Henry Cavill, who stars as the superhero himself.
